So do weddings have glitches?  The little details that accidentally get forgotten at home.  The all too important guest who was supposed to arrive at five for pictures, but came at six, instead.  Small things that can really ruin your perspective on your wedding day and rob you of the joy those sweet  moments bring.

So how do you deal with life's little surprises on your wedding day?
With grace.....
Expect from day one that something will go wrong in some way.

In 13 years, I have never seen a bride so FLEXIBLE to these little surprises than Lakeisha.  What a great example to me of true patience and grace!  Thank you Lakeisha and Vincent for allowing me to be a part of your special wedding on the lake.

Georgian Terrace Hotel.....................................Downtown Atlanta

Shelli & John

What do you do when you want a totally unique wedding in Atlanta? Hire a horse drawn carriage and have your ceremony along the city streets at sunset.

Even the horses hooves were painted red. Such a wonderful way to make the ceremony unique to JUST you.

"Thanks Cathy so much for getting us the pictures so fast. We really enjoyed meeting you and your husband. I can't tell you how much we appreciated you being a part of our day. You made everything feel very comfortable!

You were great and we had a lot of fun and moments to remember.

Thank you again,
Shelli & John"

Christ the Redeemer Luthern.......................Atlanta, GA

Beautiful all German wedding in downtown.  Thank you Pastor Brian for the referral

Mount Calvary Baptist Church.............................SC

Natalie and Joshua

Christmas time--A time to celebrate Christ's birth and God's sacrifice.
A time to spend time with friends and family.

A time to host a snowflake themed wedding.

Girls in White dresses with blue satin sashes.  Snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes.
These are a few of my favorite things.

Out of the four children in the Perkins family, we have had the extreme blessing of photographing three of their weddings.  A huge privilege.  First Jennifer & David, then Christine & Rheis, now Joshua and Natalie--all perfect mates given by God.

Subdivision Gazebo................................Fairburn, GA

Sam and Shondra

Sometimes the simplest of settings can be the most beautiful.

Shondra and Sam literally transformed the club house and gazebo into an elegant wedding location.

They both truly proved that there are no small budgets......
Just unlimited possibilities.....

Christ Redeemer Luthern.......................Atlanta, GA

Charles and Mary

No flash weddings are always a challenge to photograph, but this church made doing so a piece of cake.  The polished wood floors gave off a gorgeous reflection as the bride made her way down the long aisle.

We also strive to make each wedding's poses unique to the bride and groom.  No two weddings are alike.  With that in mind, no two weddings should be photographed the same.  No pose lists, no weird angles, just good photography and fresh ideas.

Such a cool cake idea from start to finish.  The bride and groom tied in their love of tatoos into their cake and decorations.

I loved the buttons and reception location.

Congratulations Mary and Charles!

Destin Fl....................Henderson State Park

Harvey & Tiffany

Photographing a wedding at sunset is always a challenging and yet beautiful thing.
Getting the opportunity to photograph it on one of the most gorgeous beaches in the world--blessed.
When I met with Tiffany, I knew this was going to be one of the most original weddings I would be privileged to photograph.  Yet, even though life through her a few challenges, she was still able to create the wedding she had always dreamed of.

Bethlehem First UMC

Justin & Olivia

From the first brush of makeup, to the final touches of the veil, each and every accessory is important.

The gentle light streaming through the stained glass, to the rich aroma of freshly cut roses.

His first glance, your moms tears, the exultant joy building with each step.

Each detail, every planned event all adds up to a memorable wedding.

Glendale..................................................AZ

Rachel & Nick

This year by far has been our year for photographing weddings across the United States.
What made this wedding especially memorable was the fact that our beautiful bride was also a flower girl in my own wedding 13 years ago.  Talk about feeling old!

Here she is second from the left in the bottom row in my wedding.

And here she is arm in arm with her dashing father.

Such a wonderful time catching up with friends and family out west.

And trying out new poses and ideas.

Thank you Rachel for blessing us TWICE in  our lifetime.

Piedmont...............................................AL

Robert & Andrea

We love our military couples.  The immense sacrifice they make so we can live in this free country.
After driving through the tornado damage caused by storms that swept through the area the month before, we arrived at a lovely church, set all in brick in the middle of the beautiful Alabama farmland.
Through the bride's creative touches, she transformed a small fellowship hall into a beautiful reception location.
